Dino's management did not appear at the meeting with the unions. OPZZ announces a protest


“This is a scandal,” representatives of OPZZ Confederation of Labor say in a post on Facebook. “The ignorance of employees by the Management Board of Dino Polska has exceeded all limits – including the limits of honesty. Overloading employees for poor wages and breaking the law! This is the current image of Dino Polska! The company's profits are huge, but employees' work is getting worse!” we read.

The parties to the conflict have a second meeting scheduled for January 19. OPZZ warns, however, that if Dino continues to avoid dialogue, it will send further notifications, including to the prosecutor's office.
The union also announced that it would submit an application to the Ministry of Family and Social Policy to appoint a mediator.

“We will not stop our activities until working conditions at Dino improve. Employees' patience has run out. Further avoidance of talks will result in protests and a strike. We are ready for any scenario,” OPZZ informs.
Notification to the prosecutor's office and PIP
OPZZ also informed about submitting a notification to the prosecutor's office regarding the possibility of committing a crime by Dino Polska regarding violation of the Trade Union Act and failure to provide documents necessary for trade union activities.

Additionally, the union reported to the National Labor Inspectorate concerns about the quality of meals in Dino warehouses, potential violations of labor law and occupational health and safety regulations, and management guidelines limiting the possibility of taking holidays in the summer season.
Appeal to Dino employees
“It's time for changes. Report your problems to us at [email protected]. The law is there to be followed, regardless of the size and wealth of the company. It is the employees who create this business and they deserve respect and a decent life” — appeals OPZZ on social media.
OPZZ's demands are as follows:
- salary increase by PLN 900,
- company Social Benefits Fund,
- increasing employment in supermarkets and warehouses,
- compliance with occupational health and safety.
The Management Board of Dino Polska has not yet responded to the allegations presented by trade unionists.
