Just last September there was a change in the position of the president of PZU. Andrzej Klasyk, who managed the largest insurer in Poland for only six months, was replaced by Bogdan Benczak, who had been working at PZU since February last year, i.e. he started together with Andrzej Klesyk. Years ago, before the PiS government, he was on the management boards of PZU Group companies, including: in Lithuania. It turns out that with the arrival of the new president of PZU, changes also occur in the subsidiaries.
The Supervisory Board of TFI PZU adopted a resolution regarding appointment of Artur Trela to the management boardentrusting him with the function of president of the management board of TFI PZU – PZU said in a statement. The appointment takes effect on January 16, 2026.
At the same time, the Supervisory Board canceled at the end of January 15 this year. from the company's management board – the current president of PZU TFI, Tomasz Stadnik, and vice-president Piotr Dygas.
From January 16, 2026, the management board of TFI PZU will be composed of president Artur Trela and vice-presidents Marcin Jakubiak, Jarosław Leśniczak and Marcin Dobrzański.
Who is Artur Trela?
Artur Trela is a graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw, he also completed doctoral studies at the College of Management and Finance of the Warsaw School of Economics and MBA Artificial Intelligence, Finance and Technology studies at the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology.
Since 2022, he has been associated with the PZU Group, where he served as the managing director for investments and was responsible for supervising and directing the work of the Investment Division.
As a member of the PZU Group committees, he played a key role in managing the ALM (Asset Liability Management) and own funds portfolio. He also served as vice-president of the management board of TFI PZU, and then as advisor to the president of the management board of PZU SA.
