A spokesman for the Minister of the Interior and Administration Jacek Dobrzyński announced that CBA agents were conducting activities on Thursday in 16 locations, including in PKol and PZKosz.


“Today from the morning (Thursday, April 24, 2025), at the behest of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk, CBA agents conduct searches to the case regarding the issue of unreliable VAT invoices certifying untruthful as to the circumstances that actually did not take place. The investigation was initiated from the notification of the National Tax Administration” – said Dobrzyński on Platform X.
Some activities in this case the prosecutor's office entrusted the CBA delegation in Warsaw, including At the headquarters of PKO, PZKosz and the Polish Basketball League, which is managed or in the past, was managed by Radosław Piesiewicz.
“Today's searches include a total of 16 locations in Warsaw, Katowice and Gdańsk, as well as in the Mazowieckie, Silesian, Pomeranian and Lublin provinces. Agents of the Central Anti -Corruption Bureau secure documentation necessary for the investigation and electronic data carriers, among others in the Polish Olympic Committee, the Polish Basketball Association and the Polish basketball league” – he noted.
At the beginning of March, the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk announced the initiation of an investigation into the suspicion of committing crimes by the President of PKol. According to her, there is a reasonable suspicion of Piesiewicz's financial and economic embezzlement in 2022–24. They were to consist of, among others on “issuing as part of your own sole proprietorship, in short intervals, performed by the intention taken from above, unreliable VAT invoices for a total amount of about PLN 9.3 million”.
