The day before, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine reported suspicion of bribery to the head of one of the parliamentary factions. The media wrote that they were talking about Tymoshenko, and investigative actions were underway at the premises of her party.
“I categorically reject all absurd accusations. It seems that the elections are much closer than it seemed. And someone decided to start clearing out competitors,” the politician’s post says.
Tymoshenko called the search a “grand PR stunt.”
“They found nothing, so they simply took my work phones, parliamentary documents and personal savings, information about which is fully reflected in the official declaration,” she noted.
