The man from Roman who shot himself in the head during a live broadcast on a social network died in hospital

The 74-year-old man from the city of Roman, who shot himself in the head at the beginning of this week, while doing a live broadcast on a social media platform, died in the hospital, the representatives of the Neamţ County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) announced on Thursday, according to News.ro.
The police stated that, after being informed about the man's death, the legal classification will be changed to manslaughter and unlawful use of a weapon.
The police in Roman were alerted, on Monday, by a man from Galati who claimed that he saw a man shooting himself with a gun during a live broadcast on a social media platform.
“At the scene, in the municipality of Roman, patrols from the Romanian Public Order Office and medical crews were directed. In the yard of the building, a 74-year-old man from Roman was identified, who had a gunshot wound to the head. The man showed vital signs, being transported to the hospital, in order to provide medical care,” said the police.
The man was listed as possessing lethal weapons, but with a canceled gun permit, but within the legal deadline for submission to the authorized gunsmith.
