Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to a free premiere of a film about Nikita Mikhalkov, a meeting with the director of the film and a photo exhibition

As part of the XX Winter Surikov Arts Festival, the Krasnoyarsk Cinema House (86 Mira Ave.) will host the premiere documentary film “Nikita Mikhalkov. Method” and rea retrospective of films dedicated to the life and work of Nikita Mikhalkov. There will also be a photo exhibition “A Word to Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov.”
January 20 at 19:00 The documentary film “Nikita Mikhalkov. Method” directed by Vera Vodynskaya (Moscow), and after that there will be a creative meeting with her.
Vera Vodynski is a graduate of VGIK with a degree in Directing Fiction and Documentary Films, and the N.S. Film Academy. Mikhalkova as a director of feature films and the Academy of Cinematographic and Theater Arts N.S. Mikhalkova. Vera participated in the creation of documentary series for television, such as “The Road” about sixty churches in need of restoration, and “Cinema and Meanings” about the search for Christian values in cinema, including Soviet cinema. At the heart of her films is a person whose story charges the viewer with optimism, develops emotional intelligence and awakens empathy.

From January 20 to February 19 everyone can visit the photo exhibition “A Word to Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov” for free in the foyer of the House of Cinema. Photographs of the Mikhalkov-Konchalovskys from the family archive reflect a period of life filled with warmth for their parents, loved ones and their favorite work. These photographs emphasize that Nikita Sergeevich, like every person, is full of personal and creative ups and downs, joys, worries and experiences. The exhibition is a revelation, calling to relive the Master’s experience and draw on the values that he brought for himself.
All sections of the exhibition are focused on the pillars of N. S. Mikhalkov’s life: faith, hope, family, cinema, directing. The exhibition is built on the idea of dialogue: by reading the master’s statements, you enter into a conversation with him. The exhibition organizers invite you not just to read the words, but to stop, think and, perhaps, hear an echo of your own life in them.
From 20 to 24 January As part of the XX Winter Surikov Arts Festival, the Krasnoyarsk Cinema House (86 Mira Avenue) will host a retrospective of films dedicated to the life and work of the legendary director, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Nikita Mikhalkov.
The program includes a retrospective of four films:
- January 21, 19:00 “Mama” (2003, N. Mikhalkov) – a touching monologue about maternal love.
- January 22, 19:00 “Father” (2003, N. Mikhalkov) – a conversation between father and son dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Sergei Mikhalkov.
- January 23, 19:00 “Nikita” (2025, N. Burlyaev, D. Cherentsov) – warm memories with Nikolai Burlyaev.
- January 24, 19:00 “12” (2007, N. Mikhalkov) – an epic about freedom and compassion.
