Krasnoyarsk prosecutor's office helped a man get rid of the status of the “deceased”

In the Krasnoyarsk BSMP resident St. Petersburg was mistakenly mistaken for the deceased namesake. The prosecutor's office helped to solve the problem.

The case occurred in the spring of this year – the man’s wife suddenly I received a notification from the Pension Fund on the appointment of a pension for children in case of loss of a breadwinner.

An error arose at the Krasnoyarsk ambulance hospital named after N.S. Karpovich, where information was received about the death of the patient. The coincidence of surnames, names, patronymics and even the year of birth led to confusion: a living citizen was mistaken for a deceased namesake, ”the prosecutor’s office said.

The department introduced the head of the head physician of the medical institution, which submitted incorrect data to the registry office. As a result, the error was fixed. In addition, the prosecutor prepared an application to the court on recognizing the record of the death act invalid, the situation is under control.
