Zelensky appointed third deputy head of the SBU after Malyuk’s resignation


This is the third deputy head of the SBU, who was appointed by Zelensky after the resignation of Vasily Malyuk on January 5.

On the same day, a presidential decree was published appointing the head of the Special Operations Center “A”, Yevgeny Khmara, as the acting head of the SBU.

In the evening, Zelensky’s decrees appeared on the appointment of Alexander Poklad as the first deputy head of the SBU, and Andrei Tupikov and Denis Kilimnik as deputy heads of the special service.

On January 12, the president appointed Ivan Rudnitsky, who previously served as chairman of the Volyn OVA, as deputy head of the SBU.

On January 13, the Rada dismissed Malyuk from the post of head of the SBU.
