One spoon under the root – and the indoor violet will bloom constantly: the leaves are not visible because of the “cap” of flowers

In order for violets to delight you with flowering all year round, you do not need expensive fertilizers. There is a simple and effective way to make a violet bloom constantly, you just need to add one spoon of natural fertilizer to the root. More details in the material of the news agency EAOMedia.

For abundant and long-lasting flowering, violets need three things:

  1. Nutritious soil rich in potassium and phosphorus.
  2. Soft diffused light without direct sunlight.
  3. Proper feeding to stimulate the formation of buds.

It is the last point that often becomes decisive. Even a healthy violet will not bloom without enough nutrients. There is a simple but very effective fertilizer: wood ash. One teaspoon under the root once a month is enough to see results in 2-3 weeks.

Ash contains potassium and phosphorus – the main elements that stimulate the formation of buds. It reduces the acidity of the soil, making it more favorable for flowering. It has antiseptic properties, so it protects roots from rot.

You can prepare a solution: 1 tablespoon of ash per 1 liter of water, leave for 24 hours and water at the root no more than once every 10 days.

If you don't have ash, other fertilizers are perfect:

  • Banana peel is rich in potassium.
  • Onion peel infusion is a natural immunomodulator for plants.
  • Sugar solution (1 teaspoon per glass of water) adds energy for bud growth.
