In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office helped a resident of Zelenogorsk establish a relationship with her father, who died in the Northern Military District.

The supervisory agency said that in August 2025, an 18-year-old graduate of an orphanage found herself without a livelihood. Left orphaned after the death of her mother, the girlA lost any support. Her father was not indicated in the documents, since her parents lived in a civil marriage. However, the man visited girl in the orphanage and counted her daughter.

“In search of justice, the girl turned to the prosecutor’s office. The prosecutor's investigation established that her father died while performing tasks during the SVO. To confirm the blood connection, the prosecutor's office requested genetic material and organized a DNA examination with the participation of the grandfather, the father of the deceased serviceman. The test proved the relationship with high accuracy,” noted in the regional prosecutor's office.

To restore rights, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit to establish the legal fact of paternity. The court granted the claim.

As a result, the girl is recognized as the daughter of a deceased serviceman. It's trueeshe has the right to a full range of support measures provided for family members of SVO participants.
