Dumitrescu was bought by Slavia Praga in September 2023, from Sepsi Sfântu Gheorghe. The Czechs paid 1 million euros, then loaned him twice to the team from which they took him, Sepsi OSK, respectively to Sigma Olomouc in the summer of 2025.
Throughout his career, Andres Dumitrescu played 107 matches in League 1, scoring 3 goals and providing 8 assists. He has 4 trophies with Sepsi, two Cups and two Supercups.
Former junior and youth international, Andres has also been selected for the first national team. However, he did not get the chance to debut, being an unused substitute in the 2-1 draw with Israel in November 2023.
