Prices don't want to stop. We have new data from stores


PLN 112 and 61 groszy — this is how much we now have to pay for several basic food products, according to the PanParagon report for Business Insider Polska. On a weekly basis, the price of purchases increased by PLN 0.91.
It is also much more expensive than at the beginning of January 2025. At that time, an identical basket cost just over PLN 109. Another thing is that due to seasonal price formation, the beginning of the year is usually expensive in stores.
An increase of over 10%.
Red peppers are becoming more expensive – by as much as 10.7%. on a weekly basis. Currently, we pay PLN 16.59 for 1 kg. Chicken and raspberry tomatoes are also more expensive.
On the other hand, we also have a lot of declines. For example, potatoes are almost 6% cheaper and rapeseed oil is more than 5%. The prices of Kaiser rolls are still unchanged.
