Harghita County, like many other areas in Romania, is under a yellow frost code, valid until Monday at 10:00 a.m., and the extremely low temperatures have turned the waters of the waterfall into an ice show. Those who have had the opportunity to visit the site have captured amazing images of the thermal water continuing to gently boil, while layers of ice have formed around it, creating a striking contrast of white, blue and rising steam.

Locals and tourists stopped to photograph and film the waterfall, mesmerized by its rare beauty. “It's incredible to see how the hot water of the waterfall meets the frost outside. It's like being in a fairy tale painting,” said a visitor.
The Toplița waterfall is famous not only for its spectacular appearance, but also for its therapeutic properties, being frequently visited in any season. However, its freezing offered a special show, proving once again how spectacular the natural phenomena in Romania can be.
Local authorities advise visitors to use caution near the frozen waterfall, with large icicles posing a potential hazard and trails slippery due to ice. At the same time, the spectacular images captured in the area began to circulate on social networks, arousing the astonishment and admiration of Internet users throughout the country.
