CFR Cluj does not give up the title. Dramatic victory and the Transylvanians climb the podium in the Superliga play-off
CFR Cluj dramatically defeated FC Argeş with a score of 1-0 (0-0), on Friday evening, in Mioveni, in a game from the fifth stage of the play-off phase of the football Superleague. The only goal of the game was scored by Adrian Păun (90+3), who surprised the goalkeeper Cătălin Căbuz with a shot from the edge of the box.

The guests, who also had a bar in this match, through Sheriff Sinyan (51), took revenge for the two regular season defeats by FC Argeş 2-0 away and 3-0 at Mioveni.
With its second win in the play-off, CFR Cluj climbed to 3rd place in the Superliga standings and still hopes for the title, being 5 points behind rival U Cluj and two lengths behind Craiova University. FC Argeş, with two draws and two defeats in the last four stages, is practically out of the title fight.
