Donald Trump is talking about Venezuela again. “We get along very well”

He further announced that these companies would negotiate terms with his administration, not with the Venezuelan authorities. The President of the United States assessed that American oil companies will spend “at least $100 billion of their own funds, not government money”to rebuild Venezuela's oil infrastructure and ultimately increase oil production.

During Friday's meeting, Trump also said that Venezuela had agreed to allow the U.S. “to immediately begin refining and selling up to 50 million barrels of oil, which will continue indefinitely.”

Trump on Venezuelans and the military operation in Caracas

Trump also referred to the operation carried out last week in which American services captured Nicolas Maduro and his wife. The US president praised the actions of the military and he said he had been called by “leaders of many countries” who said it was “impressive.” However, he did not indicate who he was talking to.

Moreover, he stated that his administration gets along very well with Venezuelans. — We get along very well with the people of Venezuela – both the people and those in power in the country – he said.

Later, he said that “it is a completely different Venezuela” – US citizens will benefit greatly from this – he announced, referring to the plans of his administration.
