A Krasnoyarsk man will appear in court for stealing a pensioner’s bag from a storage locker

In Krasnoyarsk, a person accused of stealing items from a storage locker in a store will appear in court.

According to the press service of the regional police, in September 2025, a resident of the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk contacted the duty station with a statement about the theft of her bags with things, money in the amount of 3 thousand rubles, documents, and a can of condensed milk from a storage locker in a store.

Law enforcement officers determined that the robber left his belongings near the cash register and went into the store. After that, he went to the storage lockers, tore out the door, took other people’s things, returned for his bag and left.

“Within several hours, criminal investigation officers established that a previously convicted Krasnoyarsk resident born in 1971 was involved in the crime. When the police arrived at his home, he was fast asleep and could not explain his actions. The stolen bag lay peacefully in the corridor – the attacker did not even look into it,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region clarified.

The bag was returned to the owner.

Currently, investigators have completed the investigation of the criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The accused was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
