Yellow stains, raiding at the bottom, gray streams along the walls – over time, even the cleanest bathtub loses its appearance. Ordinary cleaning products can not cope, although you are diligently tract, hard brushes only spoil the coating, and they also do not really help. It seems that there is no solution, but the old “grandmother” methods come to the rescue – and the grandmothers then knew a lot about cleaning and saving. So, only three ingredients – and the bath again sparkles with white.
The method works quickly and carefully, especially on acrylic and enameled surfaces. Ideal for those who do not want to spend money on aggressive chemicals, sniff a caustic smell and spend the whole weekend with a brush in their hand.
You will need
- 100 ml of warm water
- 1 tablespoon of citric acid
- 1 teaspoon of any dishwasher
Mix everything in a bowl until the crystals are completely dissolved. Wet the sponge, dip in the solution and distribute it throughout the bath. Pay special attention to the bottom and the drain hole. For vertical sites and inaccessible places, you can use paper towels: just glue them onto the treated surface – so that the product does not run out.
After 5 minutes, the plaque will soften, and it will be easy to remove it with an ordinary soft sponge. Hard brushes cannot be used in principle – only with emergency and without strong pressure. It is convenient to wash the drain and overflows with a toothbrush, old, naturally. Just rinse the residues of the solution with water, and wipe the bathtub dry.
