Corona Brașov got its goalkeeper from the Champions League. Hungarian handball player Kinga Janurik, 34, signed for two seasons.

Until now at FTC Budapest, Janurik has been playing for 5 seasons in the Champions League where he reached the final in the 2022-2023 season (24-28 with Vipers), and with the Hungarian national team he won the bronze medal at the 2024 European Championship.

Romania's vice-champion, Corona Brașov, is currently in 3rd place in the championship with 18 points, after 12 stages, and aims to rank in the top 5 teams, in order to play in the European cups next season.

From next season, Corona will play in the most modern and new multipurpose hall in Romania, the 10,000-seat arena, which will be inaugurated in the fall.

As you may have learned from GSP, the management of Corona transferred Bianca Bazaliu, Renata de Arruda and Eva Kerekeș for the next season, and the new coach of the team will be the Norwegian Bent Dahl.

Thinking of the Final Four of the EHF European League!

Corona Brașov debuts in the EHF European League groups on Sunday. Due to the second place obtained in the last championship, Corona will play directly in the groups and was assigned alongside Viborg (Denmark), Dijon (France) and Zaglebie Lubin (Poland).
