There are problems again on Ghiseul.ro: the platform for paying local taxes is inaccessible
On Thursday morning, January 8, many Romanians who tried to access the official portal for paying local taxes and fees, Ghiseul.ro, found that the site did not load or displayed error messages such as “HTTP ERROR 500”.

“This page isn't working. www.ghiseul.ro is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500” (=This page is not working. www.ghiseul.ro cannot handle this request at the moment. Many have confirmed that certain accounts remain inaccessible, while others are having trouble loading the page or making online payments.
To date, no official statement has been issued regarding the exact cause of the problems.
The outages come after the platform also experienced outages earlier this week. On Monday and Tuesday, Ghiseul.ro services were partially unavailable or displayed maintenance messages to update the data.
According to Antena 3 CNN sources, the problems are much wider than those reported by users: several public institutions cannot enter new data in Ghiseul.ro.
