SuperLiga: Rapid gives up the Austrian goalkeeper on loan from Italy

The football club FC Rapid has given up the services of the Austrian goalkeeper Franz Stolz, whose loan from Genoa has ended, the Giulești group announced on Thursday, according to Agerpres.
“Franz Stolz's loan at Rapid has ended. The club thanks him for his professionalism and wishes him success in his career. Good luck, Franz!”, Rapid said on the club's official Facebook page.
Stolz thanked the fans for their support during his time in Giulesti.
“I thank the fans for their support and the Rapid club for the time spent here. I wish you much success in this championship and in achieving your goals,” said the goalkeeper.
In the current season, Franz Stolz played in 7 matches in the Super League and in one match in the Romanian Cup. Since January 2025 when he was loaned from Genoa, he has made a total of 14 appearances, conceding 12 goals.
The 24-year-old Stolz has been loaned from Genoa to Austrian top division side Grazer AK 1902 until the end of the current season.
