RO e-Transport: “The system produces fines for taxpayers that do not harm in any way” – a lawyer from Bucharest shows how employers fined by ANAF with thousands of euros per company can defend themselves, after bringing their cars from abroad

The RO e-Transport system, used by ANAF, aims to monitor the transport of goods and combat tax evasion, but “for some time, instead of catching fraudsters, the system produces fines for taxpayers who have no intention of fraud and do not harm in any way”, says a lawyer from Bucharest, in an analysis sent to the StartupCafe entrepreneurial community.
