On Thursday, January 8, 2026, new Lotto 6/49, Noroc, Joker, Noroc Plus, Loto 5/40 and Super Noroc draws will take place, after the lottery draws of Sunday, January 4, 2026, the Romanian Lottery awarded more than 27,200 winnings totaling more than 2.17 million lei.

Prizes up for grabs in the Thursday 8th January 2026 LOTO draws

At Lotto 6/49, a carryover amounting to over 14.10 million lei (over 2.76 million euros) is recorded in category I. At Noroc, a cumulative carryover worth over 5.37 million lei (over 1.05 million euros) is at stake.

At Joker, in category I, there is a carryover worth over 46.56 million lei (over 9.13 million euros). In category II, for the same game, the carryover is over 481,700 lei (over 94,400 euros) and in category III it is worth over 113,700 lei (over 22,300 euros). At Noroc Plus, there is a transfer to category I in the amount of over 190,900 lei (over 37,400 euros).

At Lotto 5/40, in category I, a carryover amounting to over 81,200 lei is registered. At Super Noroc, a cumulative carryover of over 146,700 lei (over 28,700 euros) is registered.

When was the last time the big prize was won in Lotto 6 of 49

The grand prize in the Lotto was won in the draw on November 9, when a young man in his 30s matched all 6 numbers drawn.

He thus won the biggest prize, worth more than 9.6 million euros. The winner declined to reveal his identity and said he played the winning ticket online.
