Ciprian Ciucu expects “miserable attacks” in the campaign: “There will be a lot of money against me! Black money”

The PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall said on Friday that he “warned his family” that he would be targeted by “miserable attacks” in this campaign, as “the mess is big” and “the interests are huge”.
He claims these “attacks” will come “in waves”.
“I am ready to face the miserable attacks that will come in waves from now on! They are already being manufactured, by professional manipulators, in the laboratories of what they call themselves 'television.' There will be a lot of money thrown at me! Black money. From all sides, fabulous amounts! Money that I can't even dream of”, said Ciprian Ciucu, on Friday, in a post on Facebook.
The Liberal says he has a “perfectly honorable” resume.
“They will anchor in something from my perfectly honorable CV, take it out of context and lie for hours and hours, as only they know how to do. The mess is big, the interests are huge. A lot depends on the future of Bucharest. I warned my family that these things will happen. Thank you for understanding!”, added Ciucu.
Ciprian Ciucu, current mayor of Sector 6 and first vice-president of the PNL, criticized the “populists dressed as “sovereignists””.
“The first to start on that mess of TikTok (where I'm weaker), but also to their “television” shame, are the populists in the clothes of “sovereignists”. Don't believe anything. I'm a guy, determined, that's right, from a block on Drumul Taberei. They are the security guards with many resources, the privileged with fortunes gathered from Dragnea, from Năstase, from Ponta and who have now put on the coat of the “anti-system”. Ironic, yes! Absolutely! I hope that the state institutions, especially the CNA, will do their job,” Ciprian Ciucu said.
The elections for the Capital City Hall will take place on December 7. Applications can be officially submitted between November 12-17, and any appeals will be resolved by November 20 at the latest.
The election campaign will start on November 22, 2025 and will end on December 6, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.
Ballots will be printed on December 2, 2025.
Voting will begin on December 7, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. and will end the same day at 9:00 p.m.
