In Krasnoyarsk, a bus conductor was accused of stealing a phone

Law enforcement officers returned a stolen cell phone worth 10 thousand rubles to an 18-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk.

The incident occurred back in July 2025. “The victim was on the bus and left his phone between the seats and then got off at his stop. It was established that an 18-year-old conductor saw the gadget and decided to take it for himself. During the operational activities, the suspect was detained, the stolen gadget was seized and returned to its rightful owner during the New Year holidays,” the police said.
A criminal case has been initiated against the conductor under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”, the sanction of which provides for the following types of punishment: a fine of up to 200 thousand rubles; or compulsory, corrective or forced labor; or imprisonment for up to 5 years.
