
The author of the Ukrainian culinary YouTube channel “Ukrainian Cuisine of Beautiful Traditions” on January 3 told how to prepare fluffy and airy dumplings without soda and kefir.
“I’m sharing a proven recipe for fluffy steamed dumplings,” the blogger noted. “Unlike regular dumplings, these are cooked with yeast, so they turn out incredibly voluminous and tender.”
The author emphasized that such dough does not settle, but remains soft and fluffy even the next day.
Products
- 500 ml warm water;
- 30 g yeast;
- 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 tsp. Sahara;
- 1 tsp. salt;
- 850 g flour.
Preparation
- Prepare the dough. To do this, pour water into a container, add sugar and yeast, as well as 4 tbsp. l. flour. Mix everything until smooth. Cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Add vegetable oil and stir.
- Add sifted flour to the dough and add salt. Knead the dough. It should be soft and elastic.
- After kneading, immediately form the dough into dumplings with filling.
- Steam the dumplings. Serve hot.
