“George and Amal Clooney, two of the worst political forecasters of all time, have officially become French citizens,” the White House chief wrote.
In his post, he criticized both France for its supposedly “serious crime problem due to their terrible approach to immigration” and his predecessor as US President Joe Biden for allegedly having the same problems with immigration under him as they do now in France.
Republican Trump also mentioned that Clooney was a donor to the US Democratic Party and allegedly “abandoned” Biden during the last election campaign (in fact, Clooney persuaded Biden to leave the race because of his age).
“Clooney became more famous for politics than for his few and mediocre films. He was not a movie star at all, he was just a regular guy who constantly complained about common sense in politics,” Trump said.

Clooney previously praised French privacy laws and said he enjoys French culture and language.
