According to the current schedule from the end of 2025, the construction of the airport in Baranów itself is scheduled to start in 2026, after obtaining the necessary location decisions and permits. “There is a final environmental decision for the new airport!” – representatives of CPK announced on the X platform.
“The Centralny Port Komunikacyjny company, implementing the Port Polska investment program, has received the final decision on the environmental conditions for the airport under construction and for the equipment and facilities necessary for its operation,” we read.

The announcement explained that the environmental decision establishes the conditions of environmental consent for the construction of a new airport, railway junction, road access, reconstruction of conflicts with existing infrastructure in the airport surroundings and determines the scope of compensation and environmental monitoring.
Port Poland with renewable energy
On Wednesday, CPK also informs that the company Elektrotim will develop technical documentation for the design of energy storage facilities and a photovoltaic power plant, which will be part of the energy system of the investment under construction.. The communication node will use diversified energy sources, including renewable ones.

Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, implementing the Port Polska investment program, has made a decision tender for the preparation of design documentation for a photovoltaic farm and energy storage facilitywhich will power the new airport being built in Baranów.
Elektrotim will develop design documentation for the installation of a photovoltaic farm with a capacity of 20 megawatts (a unit of measurement of photovoltaic systems) and an electricity storage facility with a capacity of 50 megawatts and an operating time of two hours.
