Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin thanked everyone who ensured the safety and comfort of citizens on New Year's Eve. He noted that the city met 2026 calmly, without serious incidents.
“Operators of the unified duty dispatch service are among the hundreds of specialists who spent New Year’s Eve at their workplace. In their person I would like to thank everyone who ensured the safety and comfort of Krasnoyarsk residents. These are police officers, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and public utilities, and our doctors, and many others,” wrote the head of the city.
According to him, there were some fires, but no one was injured. Vereshchagin also reported that almost 9.5 thousand Krasnoyarsk residents visited festive Christmas tree complexes in different regions.
