CS Dinamo Bucharest will play the last two matches of the Champions League regular season in men's handball in the Polyvalent Hall. The decision was imposed by the European Handball Federation (EHF).
Men's handball at club level is on a long break caused by the European Championships in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The competitive season will resume in February this year.

However, on the first day of 2026, CS Dinamo Bucharest announced that it will play the last two matches of the regular season of the Champions League in the Multipurpose Hall in the capital, not in the Dinamo Hall.
According to the post made by the Romanian champion, The EHF allowed him to play in the Dinamo Hall only until the re-entry of the Polyvalent Hall into the competitive circuit. Some thermal rehabilitation works were postponed, so the biggest hall in Bucharest became available for sports competitions.
Therefore, Dinamo Bucharest is forced to play the last two games of the Champions League in the Multipurpose Hall. Here's when they will take place:
-
CS Dinamo Bucharest vs. Fuchse Berlin (Germany) – February 19, 7:45 p.m
-
CS Dinamo Bucharest vs. Kolstad (Norway) – March 5, 7:45 p.m
The management of “dulai” announced that the club's subscribers will receive appropriate seats in the Multipurpose Hall.
In addition to the two matches in Bucharest, Dinamo will have two more away games. On Wednesday, February 25, Paulo Pereira's students will play at Veszprem HC and on Thursday, March 12, they will play in Portugal, against Sporting Lisbon.
Dinamo Bucharest has a record of one win and 9 defeats in the current season of the Champions League. With only two points obtained in 10 matches, the Romanian champion occupies the last place in group A.
Dinamo's only success came on November 20, 2025, at home, in a match against HBC Nantes. The good game was crowned with a saving parade by Ionuț Iancu, after which Pereira's team won 29-28.
