The channel published several videos of objects.
The network expressed several options for what it could be.
In particular, the NASA website indicates that in the second half of April the Earth passes through a stream of particles left by comet C/1861 Thatcher, forming the Lyrid meteor shower, known for fast and bright meteors. The peak is expected on the night of April 22.
The Telegram channel “Vsesvit u kishenya” claims that it was not a comet, but probably space debris. Also, the channel initially suggested that it could be STARLINK-1894, but then they found out that the satellite had left orbit a little earlier.
“The movement of a comet cannot be noticed in such a short period of time – comets do not move so fast. This is too low a speed for a fireball. What we see is typical either for the destruction of a satellite/rocket stage in the atmosphere, or for a slow fireball,” the report says.
Telegram channel Alpha Centauri suggested that it could be the second stage of Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket, which failed to complete its mission and burned up during the fall.
