It is reported that an impact UAV was recorded hitting the territory of the Tuapse Oil Refinery, followed by a fire.
As a result of the attack, a primary oil refining unit and complex deep refining units for petroleum products were damaged.
As indicated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Tuapse Oil Refinery is one of the ten largest in Russia.
“The enterprise is export-oriented with a processing capacity of petroleum products of about 12 million tons per year,” the statement said. “The plant is part of the aggressor’s energy rear, produces motor gasoline of various brands, straight-run gasoline (raw materials for petrochemicals), diesel fuel, fuel oil and is involved in supplying the enemy’s armed forces.”
In addition, the Ukrainian military hit the Tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal near the village of Volna on the Taman Peninsula of the Krasnodar Territory.
“The enterprise is intended for the storage and subsequent transshipment of oil, petroleum products, liquefied hydrocarbon gases for export and supplying the aggressor’s armed forces. The destruction of two berths with stands at the oil terminal has been confirmed,” the statement says.
The Tamanneftegaz terminal, which is one of the largest in the Black Sea region in terms of storage and transshipment of oil cargo, was hit by Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces, the Special Operations Forces command noted on Facebook, publishing a corresponding video.
“Several MTR drones successfully reached their targets. The port infrastructure was disabled,” the message said.
Also, MTR units destroyed ammunition depots of the Russian army in the territory of the temporarily occupied Donetsk region of Ukraine.
“In the village of Blizhnoe, MTR drones hit a logistics support center for a unit from the Vostok group of forces. In the village of Siyatel, a warehouse of ammunition and logistics of the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd combined arms army of Russia was destroyed,” said the command of the Special Operations Forces.
That same night, Ukrainian attack UAVs successfully attacked the federal state government institution “Temp” in the city of Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, the General Staff added.
Earlier, SBU sources informed about the drone strike on the large Temp oil depot.
“The target has been hit, there is a large-scale fire at the facility,” the General Staff said.
In addition, the Ukrainian defense forces inflicted fire on a temporary base for river boats near Olenevka, in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea, the Ukrainian military emphasized.
