Stolen code or trust? Do you know what really stands behind the “Blik method”?

A method to attack a policeman, grandson, prosecutor, policeman, priest, banker, tax office employee – there are many attack scenarios. The goal is to manipulate a person into believing that a real person is contacting him. Unfortunately, the masquerade is often effective.
Criminals' manipulation techniques appeal to various emotions. Method for a grandchild – to family feelings. For a priest, a banker, a policeman, a prosecutor – to trust and authority. A separate category is the method for Blik, OLX, Vinted. It is a form of manipulation using well-known brands for criminal activities.
The word Blik entered the Polish language as a synonym for a certain category of payments: send Blik, click someone's money. Unfortunately, it also entered the dictionary of scam terms as one of the varieties of financial fraud – the Blik method.
Anna Koral-Zagórska, deputy director of the security department at the Polish Payment Standard BLIK, and Przemysław Poręba, security expert at the Polish Payment Standard BLIK, this term is a bit annoying because it may suggest that there is some responsibility of Blik in this scam.
This is of course absolutely untrue. Blik is super secure, which was proven during the recent massive DDoS attack by Russian hackers.
