Those who chose to spend New Year's Eve at home can watch the programs prepared by the main television stations in Romania for this occasion. Pro TV, Antena 1, TVR and Kanal D have prepared special shows to welcome, together with the viewers, the year 2026.

Pro TV starts the fun from 20:00, with Pavel Bartoș and Raluka

“Protevelionul” 2026 will be presented, for the fifth year in a row, by Pavel Bartoș and Raluka. The soundtrack of the evening will be signed by renowned artists, including Andra, Loredana, Horia Brenciu, Theo Rose, Irina Rimes, Smiley, Emilia Dorobanțu, Taraful de la Vărbilău, Ionel Tudorache, Diana Matei, according to the TV station.

In addition to musical moments, Pro TV will also be able to watch humorous moments, starring actors such as Carmen Tănase, George Ivașcu, Cosmin Seleși and Lucian Ghimiși.

Pro TV is offering 10,000 euros for viewers

Those who will choose to watch “Protevelion” put 10,000 euros up for grabs for viewers. During the show, which will end at 2:00, six clues will appear on the screen for viewers to identify.

Viewers who identify at least one of the six clues must go to protevelion.protv.ro, fill out the form and they can win the 10,000 euros up for grabs.

Antena 1 has five New Year's Eve presenters

Antena 1 announced as early as November, when the filming for the 2026 New Year's program took place, that this year it is returning to the presentation formula from 2023, but Nea Mărin, Liviu Vârciu and Andrei Ștefănescu are joined by Sonny and “Rikito” – who have also participated in other Antena 1 shows, such as “Chefi la Cuțite” or “Poftiti pe la noi”.

“New Year's Eve” starts on Antena 1 at 20:00.

New Year's Eve on TVR 1 will be presented by a former star of Antena 1

Comedian Dan Badea will present New Year's Eve on TVR 1, TVR International and TVR Moldova, according to the Media Page. Badea was in the past presenter of the show iUmor, on Antena 1.

The special program on TVR 1 will start at 21:30.

Along with Badea, three stars who launched their careers at the public television station will take the stage: Andreea Marin, Iuliana Tudor and Ramona Bădescu, Pagina de Media also writes.

On the occasion of this New Year's Eve, TVR marks 70 years of existence, so during the program several personalities will send special messages: Nadia Comăneci, Gică Popescu, Horia Brenciu, Cătălin Măruţă, Ştefan Bănică Jr., astronaut Dumitru Prunariu, Maria Ciobanu, Sofia Vicoveanca, Emil Grădinescu, Horatiu Mălăele.

Kanal D offers viewers a special edition of the show “Casa Iubirii”, presented by Andreea Mantea

Kanal D will broadcast on Wednesday night, from 23:30, a rerun of a special edition of the show “Casa Iubirii”, presented by Andreea Mantea.

The “House of Love” contestants will spend New Year's Eve 2026 with a series of special guests of the show, according to the TV station. Special guests include singer Ruby and famous manele singer Luis Gabriel.
