Macedonian goalkeeper Dejan Iliev (30 years old) extended his contract with UTA, the team from Arad announced.
“Dejan Iliev stays with our team! The valuable goalkeeper will continue to defend the goals of the UTA Port until at least in the summer of 2027.
With 19 matches in the T-shirt of 'Old Lady', of which eight without a goal, the goalkeeper of the nation of North Macedonia was also appointed team captain in the Arad shirt, ”the club in Arad announced.

According to sportarad.ro, Iliev had a monthly salary of 9,000 euros and decided to stay in Arad for the same amount, although he had received an offer from Cyprus, from Anorthosis Famagusta.
The goalkeeper spoke about his situation five days ago, after the draw with Gloria Buzău, score 0-0.
