In several localities in Alba County, Aiud area, people were left without electricity due to a major breakdown. The representatives of the electricity company said that they are on the ground to fix the problem, and around 500 homes are currently affected, writes the local publication ziarulunirea.ro.
The major power outage, which initially affected approximately 2,000 homes, was first reported to the authorities at around 18:00. Meanwhile, DEER Alba representatives announced that they have solved some of the problems and only around 500 homes are still affected.
According to the representatives of DEER Alba, there is an accident on a medium voltage line that is currently affecting Râdești commune and partially Aiud municipality.
The intervention team performs maneuvers to locate and remedy the situation, according to Unirea Newspaper.
The areas initially affected by the blackout were Petelca, Capud, Beldiu, Râdești, Aiud, Sancrai, Garbovita and Garbova.
