They met in Monza
The destinies of the two are closely linked to Bombardier, because they first met when the Romanian worked for that company.
“We met in Monza, I was selling private planes, I was sent by Bombardier. I went, introduced myself, left him my business card and tried to sell him a plane for 6 months and he turned me down. After many refusals, he invited me to dinner and that's how we met.
