Epiphany. The turbulent story of a day off
Forsal reminds that in September 2010, legislative work began on a bill restoring this day as a non-working day. The act was passed by the Sejm on September 24, 2010 and entered into force on January 6, 2011.
Already at the stage of legislative work on restoring the day off on January 6, the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan expressed opposition. Representatives of employers in this type of situations argue that: an additional day off from work harms the economy.
