As a result of an attack by the aggressor country of the Russian Federation on the night of June 15, the building of the Academy of Modern Education A+ was damaged in Kyiv. The director of the institution, Tatyana Shapovalova, reported this on Facebook.
The private educational institution is located in the Comfort Town residential complex, which has become the target of Russian attacks for at least the fourth time, Interfax-Ukraine recalled.
According to Shapovalova, there were no casualties at the academy. The Akademiks kindergarten is operating as usual, and the elementary school will resume in-person learning on Tuesday, June 16.
“We are grateful to everyone for their support, to our colleagues, parents, friends who cleaned up the consequences in the morning, we are grateful to the rescuers who put out the fire at night. I want to say that the most important thing is the people who are alive, and that we will definitely restore our building,” the director noted.
