As the Polish police reported, on December 24, two cars collided on a highway near the city of Brzeg, Opole Voivodeship – a Volkswagen Passat and a Ford Kuga. According to the prosecutor's office, six people died: the Ford driver, a resident of Brzeg, as well as five Ukrainians who were in the Volkswagen.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed the deaths of Ukrainians and clarified that we are talking about citizens born in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Investigative actions are currently underway, Ukrainian consuls are in contact with relatives of the deceased citizens, as well as with local competent authorities.
