In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Ilya Volchek has been appointed to the post of prosecutor of the city of Lesosibirsk.

He has served in the regional prosecutor's office since 2014: he worked in the supervisory departments of the Balakhtinsky and Ermakovsky districts, the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk, and since 2023 he has headed the prosecutor's office of the Motyginsky district.

For Lesosibirsk, regional prosecutor Roman Tyutyunik identified the following key areas of work for the new prosecutor:

• control over the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated housing, provision of housing for those in need, maintenance of the municipal housing stock, the work of employment agencies and respect for the rights of citizens to social support measures;
• protection of the rights of entrepreneurs, timely payment of municipal contracts, repayment of wage debts, suppression of payments below the minimum wage and prevention of industrial injuries;
• reducing the level of serious crimes, increasing their detection rate, combating remote fraud, illegal trafficking in drugs, weapons and alcohol, crimes in the housing and communal services sector and national projects, as well as suppressing illegal mining;
• strengthening control over compliance with migration legislation;
• ensuring the protection of the rights of children and families;
• combating corruption in the disposal of municipal property, the use of budget funds, in the areas of forestry and subsoil use;
• in the field of ecology and the urban environment, special attention was assigned to waste management, the work of the regional operator, and compliance with environmental legislation.
