Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov referred to the actions of European leaders in an interview with TASS.
— Since around 2014, the European Union has been pursuing a policy of dismantling the mechanisms of interaction with Russia. The ruling circles of most European countries exaggerate the “Russian threat” and fuel Russophobic and militaristic sentiments in society. I would like to emphasize that they are doing all this without any good reason: Russia has never taken hostile actions against its European neighbors on its own initiative, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry lied.
— It is difficult to answer the question whether figures such as Ursula von der Leyen, Merz, Starmer, Macron and the like have crossed the tipping point.
