We hit gas and fuel installations in Russia, using, among others: from British-made Storm Shadow missiles – the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement on Thursday in the Telegram application.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Storm Shadow cruise missiles were used to attack a refinery in Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov Oblast in western Russia.

Many explosions were reported. The target was hit – said in a message on Telegram.

It was added that this refinery is the largest infrastructure of this type in southern Russia and the oil processed by it goes to the Russian military in the form of diesel and aircraft fuel.

Moreover, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported that Ukrainian-made drones hit oil tanks in the Russian port of Tiemryuk in the Krasnodar Krai, and – according to Reuters – in the world's largest gas transmission system in the city of Orenburg in southern Russia, approximately 1.4 thousand km away. km from the border with Ukraine.

There is no exact information about the effects of the attacks, but the authorities of the Krasnodar Krai reported that a fire broke out near the installation.
