E.Wedel has announced the launch of an innovative product: artisan ice cream specifically formulated for dogs, featuring simple ingredients. This new offering coincides with the celebration of Dog Day on July 1.
The ice cream will be available at all 33 E.Wedel Chocolate Café locations. Daniel Kucharski, the president of Pijalnie Czekolady Sp. z o.o., explained that the decision to introduce this product arises from observing more guests visiting their cafés with pets. “We want each visit to be enjoyable for everyone, including our four-legged friends, which is why we are expanding our menu to include items specifically for dogs. This is a natural step in the development of our outlets as welcoming places for every family member,” he stated.
- Duck — a blend of duck broth and meat combined with zucchini, pumpkin, carrot, pear, and raspberry;
- Turkey — based on turkey broth and meat, enriched with carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato, apple, and parsley root.
The dog ice cream is offered in an 80 ml serving priced at 12.90 PLN, according to the network.
Industry representatives note an increasing trend towards the “humanization” of pets.
