In Turukhansk, a businessman sold potatoes with a 200% markup

In Turukhansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Rospotrebnadzor specialists punished entrepreneurs for large markups.
For the territory of the Far North, the maximum permissible trade markup on consumer goods is legally established – no more than 35%. However, an inspection by the Department showed that some businessmen do not comply with this law.
Thus, in the Sever store (IP Peskova V.E.), potatoes were sold with a markup of 200%, onions with a markup of 150%, flour – 105.8%, sugar – 89.2%, pasta – 66%.
In the Kedrovy store (IP Kuzmina N.G.), the premium on potatoes was 126%, on carrots – 104%, on onions – 108%, on pasta – 70%.
In the Strelka store (IP Blinova Z.N.), carrots were sold with a markup of 180%, flour with a markup of 154%, sugar – 122.5%, canned meat – 108.3%.
For such inflated prices for essential goods, entrepreneurs were prosecuted under Article 14.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and each violator was fined 50,000 rubles.
