In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a woman will be tried for stealing meat and lard from a neighbor.
According to the investigation, in October 2025, a drunk woman was on the veranda of her friend’s house and saw a refrigerated chest with meat and pork lard. The total weight of the products was 20 kilograms 615 grams, and the cost was 9,276 rubles 75 kopecks.
Without hesitation, the woman decided to steal meat from her neighbor. She reached for the plastic bag, but at that moment the minor son of the owner of the house noticed her.
“Realizing that the secret had become apparent, a new, bolder plan matured in the woman’s head: open theft. Snatching the package, she openly moved towards the exit. The owner of the house noticed this and followed the attacker. The woman followed a friend down the street and asked to return the stolen property,” said the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The attacker did not respond to the neighbor’s requests and fled from pursuit at home. She disposed of the meat and lard stolen from a friend at her own discretion.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It will be examined in the courtroom soon.
