A Brazilian teenager was hit in the chest with a soccer ball while trying to save a penalty. The tragedy was recorded on video by the victim's friends.
It all happened at a training session of an amateur club in the state of Amazonas – Edson Lopez Gama was fighting off a penalty shootout, one of the balls hit him in the heart area. The boy began to lose consciousness, and eyewitnesses did not have time to take him to the doctors – the only hospital was 11 hours away.
