When communicating with colleagues online, Krasnoyarsk residents are most irritated by being ignored

The MTS digital ecosystem and its MTS Link platform studied how residents of Siberia feel about online meetings with colleagues.

According to the study, more than 70% of respondents in Krasnoyarsk and other Siberian regions positively assessed work communications and their structure. However, 40% of respondents noted that due to the lack of rules of interaction and the lack of coordinators, difficulties arise when communicating with colleagues.

Half of the respondents called resolving work issues in instant messengers redundant, and the most common source of irritation during correspondence was untimely reading of messages (25%) and long waits for a response from colleagues (25%).

Another unnerving factor was the difficulty of finding the right materials in general chats among large volumes of information (17%). Memes and non-professional pictures in chats trigger 14% of Krasnoyarsk residents.

Almost half of the respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of involvement in work processes and the focus shifted to other things (22% and 21%, respectively). 12% of Krasnoyarsk residents are annoyed when colleagues eat and smoke during calls. And 11% are in a stupor due to the lack of cameras on.

Krasnoyarsk residents most often use AI not in work, but in everyday life – for data analysis, text generation, creative tasks and selection of travel routes. Audiences aged 18 to 24 are significantly more likely to use AI for learning languages, receiving medical and psychological advice, and selecting cosmetics, but are more concerned about the use of AI in advertising – especially in terms of targeting and generating advertising materials. Respondents are most wary of AI content on social networks – texts, images and videos.
