The head of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory promised not to close rural hospitals

The creation of medical districts in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was discussed at meetings with the participation of Deputy Minister of Health Alexei Konovalenko with teams of medical institutions and residents of Achinsk.

Head of the Ministry of Healthassured those present that the network of district medical institutions will remain unchanged. At the same time, it is planned to introduce new approaches to the provision of specialized and high-tech medical care. Subject specialists will be concentrated in institutions equipped with advanced equipment, which will improve the quality of services provided.

“Many are worried that rural hospitals will be closed, and they will have to travel hundreds of kilometers to some other, larger hospital. Nothing like this will happen, and there are no such plans. The entire rural healthcare infrastructure remains the same – first aid stations, outpatient clinics, district and district hospitals have worked and will continue to work. We want to strengthen and strengthen all the positive things that have been created over the last decade,” explained Alexey Konovalenko.

Olga Rakhmankulova, head of the department for organizing medical care of the Ministry of Health of the region, also noted the importance of interdepartmental interaction – telemedicine technologies should become a priority tool in cases where there are no specialized specialists on site. The main principle is the availability of medical care for everyone. “Now it’s not the patient who should come to us, but we should come to the patients, wherever they are,” said Rakhmankulova.

In conclusion, the head of the Ministry of Health emphasized that the effectiveness of the work of each specialist and the health care system as a whole directly depends on the competent organization of the internal work of institutions, and also assured that all proposals and problems voiced during the meetings will be carefully analyzed and taken into account in further work.
