In Krasnoyarsk, a 34-year-old resident of the city of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk region, is suspected in the attempted murder of two people in a generally dangerous manner. On the initiation of a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30, pp. “a”, “e” part 2 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was reported to the Investigative Committee.

The crime was committed on December 21 in the evening in the area of ​​the Leps bar on Uritsky Street. According to investigators, a drunken attacker began to pester the woman, a 24-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident stood up for her, and a conflict arose between the men. Then the instigator went to the hotel where he was staying during his visit to Krasnoyarsk, took a gas pistol there, andconverted into a combat one, and returned to the scene.

“When the victim was waiting for a taxi, the attacker fired several aimed shots from a firearm: one of them hit the 24-year-old opponent in the leg, and the left fender of the taxi car in which the 28-year-old driver was also damaged. The criminal actions of the defendant were not completed due to the fact that he shot all the cartridges in the pistol magazine. The taxi driver was not injured, the 24-year-old man is in the hospital, his life is not in danger,” the Investigative Committee said.

The shooter was detained and taken into custody.

Currently, investigative and procedural actions are being carried out aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base, the necessary forensic examinations have been ordered, and witnesses are being questioned. A legal assessment of the legality of gun ownership will also be given.
