EU funds in Bucharest and Ilfov: Almost half of the applicants were rejected from the financing of 25,000-300,000 EUR intended for micro-enterprises. List of projects selected for funding, expected in January 2026

More than 400 companies were rejected from the first stage of the selection process for financing of EUR 25,000-300,000 intended for micro-enterprises that want to make investments in the city of Bucharest and the county of Ilfov, within the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Program (PR BI), financed from European funds through the Cohesion Policy.

The PR BI Management Authority announced, in a statement sent to the entrepreneurial community, that it has recently completed the technical-financial evaluation of the funding requests submitted within the PR BI Call P1/1.8/1/2024.

The process of evaluating the Financing Applications ended on December 18, 2025, with the transmission of the last notifications to the applicant companies.
